Hi.

Free version is enough.
You should create html template in this component, then you will get template button in editor.
But, before install and use Content Templater, you should decide whether you need this component at all.
The layout that you want can be done simply with CSS. And for the final user, it will be enough simply add the article image and text through standard tools.
Add the full article image through standard tools (Images and Links tab), add the text through the text editor and provide a link to the article. Then we can help you with CSS.
This is fundamentally not the right option. Therefore, just throw it away and don't think about it.Should I maybe instead have it be a category of 2 or more articles? That way the first article could contain the text and the 2nd the image, and then I use css flex to put them side-by-side? Or is there a better way?

It is inside Components dropdown. How do I properly install the Content Templater extension? I can't seem to find it in the extension section of my Joomla Admin.
Also, I noticed there is a free and a paid version of said extension. Will the free version suffice to solve my problem?
